I dont know what it's all about but there seems to be a sudden rise in bad behavior patterns on xbox live recently,I myself have started to get slightly depressed with the whole achievements/gaming lifestyle.Dont get me wrong theres still nothing better than hearing those achievements pop but it seems that some people will stoop to the lowest level to attain them these days. Now usually im more than happy to help people on my friends list get achievements although its not always possible due to me not keeping games for very long, but i'm finding a few people who never seem to want to join rooms especially if they already have the achievements we're going after.I have a small circle of friends who i can rely on for boosting sessions but games are now increasing the amount of players needed to unlock achievements, burnout paradise being one of those.Even though i have plenty of people on my list who have the game, most are reluctant to join when boosting.
All this has led to my decision to start deleting people off my friends list.
I have also been witness to the effects of "achievement envy"where some are so busy trying to catch my gamerscore that they start to see me as the enemy.....I'm not too fussed if people get ahead,I'm even happy to help them on their way,but this also leads to them not wanting to help because they dont want me to get achievements that they have. Please dont take it out on me because you're gaming skills are inadequate enough to get more than 5 points on most game you play though(you know who you are!)
Xbox live is a great social hub for me,it lets me talk to people that i would never even approach let alone talk to if I was to meet them at random in the streets,so i can't understand why some feel the need to be sometimes quite abusive while playing...come on people enrich your lives and show the same respect to your fellow gamers that you would have them do the same, you can always learn something from anybody with a little respect and good manners.

I agree the only way you can enjoy a game on xbox live nowadays is in a room where everyone is only playing for one thing and that is the sheer enjoyment of playing a decent game and having a laugh while doing it . There is nothing worse than getting in to a room full of annoying american kids who are just playing the game for achieves then moan like little bitches when you shoot them in the head.
hey blue ghost what you mean annoying american kids playing for achievement what do you think shat here does, heck he cheats for points so much half he's gamerscore is boosted, lets see a quick list, Burnout paradise, Burnout revenge, avatar was done by someone else altogether, timeshift, vampire rain, fusion frenzy was done by his partner cos he couldn't do it himself, but he still wanted the points on his profile, halo 3. etc so ghost don't define boosters by there nationality, shat cheats as much as anyone else, i don't think he even know what playing a game for fun even stands for anymore
hold on a minute, what do you think im doing at the moment?im playing call of duty 4 for fun.and and at least have the bollocks to put your name to your posts matty.
try improving you're sentence structure too, although i wouldn't expect anything else from a stupid cockney.
you cant boost single player achieves and i have enough of those to still have more points than you even if you take of the ones i didnt do.
Like i meant it is ruining the mulitplayer experience on live .I dont care what nationallity you are or how you get your gamer score just dont expect us regular gamers to go along with it .If you want to boost find like minded people and get on with it. Instead of crying like a little bitch because no one will help you boost your own score.
